We’ve been here for 2 weeks and God has been good!

There were couple of prayer request and they’ve been answered!

God is working in miraculous ways!!

As this is my first time on a mission’s trip, I’m loving every moment!

The people are so shy and friendly at the same time!! The kids are amazing, but just waaaaay tooo shy for my liking!

By the way…. we misss you guys…. Go habs go!! (i had to mention that)

Its almost 8pm and the internet cafe is going to close…. so till then…

This morning, I got up much earlier than the rest of them so I decided to hop on a motor bike and come to the internet cafe. I don’t have the words to really express how much of a great time I’m having here, but you just seriously need to experience this yourself.

The people here are simply wonderful. It’s like they’re living a complete opposite life of what we live in Canada - a stress free life. In Canada, we’re so concerned and are so caught up with our lives that we tend to forget the entire beauty of it. We’re living a Monday – Friday routine, which to me, dulls everything out. But here, everything is so lively and upbeat, new things happen on a daily basis. People can be dong the worst jobs with the biggest smiles on their faces, which I find really dope.

Anyway, I wish I could expand on this thought, but I gotta run back before everyone wakes up. Talk to you soon.

Well, we’re currently stuck at the internet cafe cause it’s raining really really hard outside. I didn’t bring my camera, and we couldn’t upload any of the pictures on Mel’s cam because we didn’t have the proper wire, so instead we decided to take a webcam pic of us being us. Anyway I’m gonna make friends with some locals. PEACE

Hey everyone, we made it safely here. Thanks for all your support. I must say, we’re all having a really good time here… except for the weather, I’m not too sure if I can handle this heat for the next 30 days. It seriously feels like a hot sauna 24/7.

We made it to the Ilocos Norte, which is pretty much the most northern part of the country. Here’s a picture of us getting off the plane. We were welcomed with live music, beautiful scenery, and a great bunch of people.

Soon after, we got to meet my 2 cousins, who I’m meeting for the first time in my life. We took a picture outside of the place where the internet cafe is, where we will be updating frequently.

Tonight there’s a little conference happening at one of my aunts church, Pastor Faith Daquigan. We’re gonna be sharing with the people of the community some of our experiences we’ve had in Canada. Anyway, check back soon. Bye!
